Mangalore: Wednesday, March 26, the last day to submit nomination papers, Janardhan Poojary, Congress MP candidate, Dakshina Kannada, filed his nomination papers at the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Mangalore for the upcoming Lok Sabha eletions.
Poojary was accompanied by U.T. Khader, minister for health and family welfare, Ramanath Rai, minister for forest, ecology and environment and DK district in-charge minister, J.R. Lobo and Vasanth Bangera, MLAs among others.
Speaking after nomination Poojary said, BJP has been campaigning only in the name of Modi and not the local candidate right. This means the contest is between Modi and me. Congress has the courage to visit every household and ask for votes. People are very excited to vote for Congress. He said.
