Mangaluru: “CM Siddaramaiah should demand for the resignation of Minister H Y Meti on whom serious allegations of sex scandal have been made. If Meti refuses to resign then CM should sack him from his cabinet,” said former union minister Janardhana Poojary.

Speaking to the press reporters at Mangaluru Pres Club on Monday, he said that CM doesn’t have any sort of control over his cabinet minister. In case if he has then why doesn’t he demand for the resignation of Meti? Why did he include him in the cabinet before verifying the background?

“CM has become arrogant and he is not listening to anyone. Why did you git angry on media persons questions over H Y Meti case? Each and every person of this state has the right to ask question to you. You must resign, if you can’t solve the problems of this state,” said Poojary addressing CM Siddaramaiah.

He further said “Never assume that you are the only person to be eligible for the CM post. Even Dalit leader Dr Parameshwar also can become CM, if the high command wants. Sack Minister Meti immediately to correct your mistake. Even the BJP leaders also mum on the issue. Every time they chant ‘Mathr Devo Bhava’ and now they are not at all speaking on the issue.”

Further turning his words towards Modi he said that Modi has time to visit foreign countries, but he doesn’t have time to attend the parliamentary session. He is not ready to face the opposition in the assembly.
