Mangalore : BJP MP Candidate from Dakshina Kannada District Nalin Kumar Kateel filed complaint against Independent candidate Sudatha Jain for delivering the maligning statement against him just a before the election to the media.

Jain in his statement revealed that Kateel had made 3,642 personal calls to a lady and this was leaked by employees working in Bharti Airtel (service provider) to few who oppose Kateel.

Jain had also requested Deputy Commissioner AB Ibrahim, to conduct an inquiry on how a service provider can reveal call details of MP to any individuals.

In connection to the statement, Kateel has filed a complaint against Jain and a criminal lawyer in Bunder Police Station, while a notice was also issued to Bharti Airtel for disclosing call details of a MP.
