Bantwal : Kavalapadooru Gram panchayat president, Rohini(45) a resident of Madhwapalke died at Thumbe hospital after she failed to respond to the treatment on October 11, Saturday.

Apart from being an active Congress worker, Rohini was the director of Women’s Cooperative Society and an active member of several organizations.

It is learnt that, Rohini’s son saw her suffering from pain when he came home and took her to hospital and died due to low blood pressure.

She is survived by her husband, a daughter and a son.

Bantwal police circle inspector K U Belliappa visited the hospital and completed legal procedures.
