Mangalore: A Kidney Dialysis Centre (KDC) and Scanning Centre (CSC) Were launched at KKMA-Highland hospital in Falnir on Wednesday in city.
Kuwait –Kerala Muslim Association (KKMA) has set up the second Kidney Dialysis Centre (KDC). This is a social welfare organisation of NRI s from Kuwait.
There is alliance with Simrah Health Foundation, formed by a group of doctors in city for medical philanthropic activities.
There are 10 dialysis centre in Kerala and coastal Karnataka at present, established by KKMA in service of the Poor.
The new Centre was inaugurated by yenepoya University Chancellor, Abdullah Kuni, and UAE exchange centre offer Sudhir Shetty whereas City Scan Centre was duly opened by U.T. Khader (Ullal MLA).
Speaking to a medical audience Kunhi said Coats of medicines diagnosis and hospitalisation and gone beyond the reach of the poor Muslims. In this rather Challenging situation, KDC has come in handy to Prevent Kidney failures.

S.M. Basheer told that more KD centre could be opened in DK (there are 2 now) according to requirements. 11000 members of KKMA help these projects.
