Mangalore : The members of Karnataka Rakshana Vedike staged the protest in front of DC Office on Apr 12, Thursday, demanding the basic facilities like Ration card, property rights, Akrama – Sakrama, drinking water, electricity, sub road repair and delay of the in the government related works and foot path repairs for the general public.
Addressing the protestors, Dr Annayya Kulal, honorary president of KRV said that the government must not give water contract to the private companies. If given, the people in the country must celebrate the festival with the permission from the countries.
If the MCC do not change their contract plan, then they will hold the jana jagruthi programme in 60 wards coming the limits of MCC.
He also said that now we have the Chief Minister of our district, but now at least he must know our problem and work for the development.
Later they submitted memorandum to CM DVS through the DC Ds N S Channappa Gowda.
KRV members like Mohan Das Rai, Suresh Acharya, Rajesh Kundar, Rajesh Bhat, P K Geoge and other were present.
