Mangalore : MLA and former minister Krishna Palemar inaugurated Kudla Kudru, an island near Sultan Batheri area in Mangalore on November 25, Sunday.

In his address, Palemar said developments of islands in this fashion, would go a long way in boosting tourism. Yogish Bhat, Deputy Speaker, Gulzar Banu, city mayor and others were present as chief guests and were happy to see the way in which Kudru has been developed as a place of tourist attraction and hope tourists would love to visit the place.

On the inaugural day, people were ferried to Kudru in boats.  Kudru had food stalls and the guests were served fish cuisines, fast food and ice cream.
