Mangalore :  A bid to smuggle as much as 3 kg of ganja by a Dubai bound flight was averted by officials at the Mangalore International Airport on October 9, Wednesday when they arrested one Brijesh (20) who was found in possession of ganja.

During enquiry, Brijesh told the officials that he  was to hand over the ganja to  one Shaan in Dubai and that he got the ganja from Sabir in Kannur district of Kerala. Brijesh was reportedly promised cash in return for the ganja smuggling.
