Sullia : A man lost his life after he drowned while trying to remove the slush filled in the lake of the family plantation at Paltady village.

The deceased is Gopalakrishna K (34), son of Monappa Naika. It is learnt, Gopalakrishna had gone all alone to the lake to remove the slush. However when he did not return, the family members rushed to the spot only to find him dead in the lake water.

The deceased was an electrical maintenance technician at Adani Power Ltd UPCL at Padubidri.
