Mangalore: Mangalore International Airport Director MR Vasudeva was accorded a warm farewell on behalf of the airport employees, at the old airport premises on October 31, Wednesday.

Responding to the felicitation  conferred on him, Vasudeva said Mangalore, a small airport once has today been raised to international stature with due co-operation of all staff of the airport and senior authorities of the Airports Authority of India.

He allayed all misconceptions regarding the table top nature of the airport and added there should not be any wrong notion about the airport even in the future.

He also expressed his happiness over the appointment of GT Radhakrishnan as the new director
M.R.Vasudeva and his wife Nagarathna Rao were felicitated by Dr. D Veerendra Heggade,  Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala, on the occasion.
