Mangalore : The launching ceremony of Mangalore’s first five star hotel ‘Deepa Grandeur’ was held  at MG Road opposite TMA Pai Convention Centre on November 29. The venture is by Janatha Constructions,. Mangalore’s premiere real estate developers. Foundation was also laid on the occasion for ‘Divya Deepa Heights’, commercial-cum-residential apartment project.

P Jayaram Bhat, Managing Director of Karnataka Bank and M Jagannath Shenoy, MD of Mangalore Ganesh Beedi Works laid the foundation stones.

Speaking on the occasion Ramesh Kumar, Managing Direct or of Janatha Constructions said the projects  are coming up on a 3.43 acre land. He said the project is expected to be complete within four years

 Urmila R Kumar, managing partner, P Jayaram Bhat, Managing Director of Karnataka Bank, M Jagannath Shenoy, Ananthkrishna, non-executive chairman of Karnataka Bank, J Krishna Palemar, former district in-charge minister, AJ Shetty, Chairman of AJ group of companies and A Sadanand Shetty, Chairman of Shree Devi Education Trust  were on the dais.

Deepa Grandeur

This 25 floor  project  is expected to be a world class lifestyle hotel. It will have an exclusive, veg. non-veg restaurants, specialty restaurant, business and meeting room, boardroom. Banquet hall, dining hall, swimming pool, open terrace, gym, health club and spa. It will have a total of 169 rooms including suites, premium and a deluxe rooms.

Divya Deepa Heights is  a commercial cum luxurious apartment complex  will be of 30 floors with all  living, dining and bedrooms will be open to the exteriors for proper light and ventilation.
