Mangalore : The annual day celebrations of Mangalore Institute of Fashion Technology (MIFT) was held at Town Hall in Mangalore on March 9, Saturday. An art and craft exhibition with the theme ‘ Fashion for All’ was also held.P L Dharma, Head of the Department of Political Science of Mangalore University, inaugurated the programme.

In his address, PL Dharma said he was happy to take part in the function and said fashion knew no bounds of caste or creed. He urged parents to inculcate noble virtues in their children and make them hard working instead of  discouraging them from doing strenuous works.

Faculty of KMC hospital Dr Prabha Adhikari was the guest on the occasion.Chairman of MIFT College Dr Aroor Prasad Rao presided over the function. Academic director MIFT College M G Hegde was also present on the occasion.

 Students presented a fashion show and variety of cultural programmes.
