Puttur: A driver had a miraculous escape after an oil tanker overturned and fell on a parked car, crushing it completely, in an incident reported near Manjalpadpu on Tuesday.

Yallalinga, tanker driver from Bagalkot suffered minor injuries.

It is said that Jayaprakash had parked his Maruti 800 car by the side of the road and went to a nearby shop. It was at that time a tanker loaded with palm oil went out of control and overturned on the car.

A case was registered.
