Puttur : BJP leader and MLA Basana Gowda Patil Yatnal alleged police atrocities, has urged the party cadres to refrain from raking up issues. Instead everyone must strive to strengthen the party organisation, he said.

Yatnal was in the town as per the directive of the party leadership in the wake of the controversy over the homage banner of BJP leaders and the arrest of youth and the subsequent police atrocities.

Yatnal who visited the RSS office in Puttur later visited the BJP office and urged the party cadres to strengthen organisation for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Party leaders Pratap Simha Nayak, Ramdas Bantwal, Sudhir Shetty Kannur and others were present.
