Mangalore : Police, led by CCB Inspector Venkatesh Prasanna have in all arrested seven persons in connection with the recent Morning Mist home stay attack. If  four were arrested in the morning, three more were apprehended in the evening. With this, the total number of persons arrested in connection with the case has gone upto 22.

Those arrested on Thursday are  Ramesh Kotian (40) and Nithin (28) of Kannur, Mangalore, Jagadish alias Jagga (20) of Veeranagar,  Sampath Poojary (23) of Kinnikambala, Suresh Poojary (24) of Veeranagar, Deepak (24) and Mithun Poojary (21) of Maroli.

However, reports say it is not clear if the arrested are activists of Hindu Jagarana Vedike or locals who had joined them.
