Moodbidri : A man was murdered allegedly by his brother-in-law at Gantalkatte in Moodbidri TMC limits on May 11, Thursday morning.

The deceased is Mohammad Jamal (40), a local resident. The accused Suhaib has been arrested. It has been alleged that Suhaib stabbed Jamal to death. The reason behind the murder is not known.

Suhaib who hailed from Chikkamagalur was residing close by the residence of Jamal. It is suspected that a trivial issue had led to the murder.

Moodbidri police are investigating the case.
