Mangaluru : Dakshina kannada Co. Operative milk producers Union Ltd., (KMF) Mangalore Has won the prestigious national Dairy Excellence award instituted by National Dairy development board (NDDB). The president sri . Raviraj Hegde , Managing director dr. B.V. Sathyanarayana, along with Board of Directors of DKMUL are invited by NDDB to receive the award on 26-09-2017 which happens to be NDDB s foundation day .

The honorable chief minister s of Gujrat shri .Vijaybhai Rupani will be chief Guest and shri Radha Mohan Singh , honorable minister for agriculture and Farmers welfare , government of India Will preside over the function . Various Ministers from Gujrat shall be esteemed guests of the programme.

The award is instituted by NDDB to bring about quality and economy among Co-operative dairies in India . Out of 220 co-operative milk Unions , in India , 15 Milk unions are being awarded on various level of milk handling .

D.K milk Union which handles around 4.0 LLPD milk is considered medium Organizations and the expert committee of NDDB has inspected the Dairy , field Activities , quality testing , finance manpower etc ., before selection to the Prestigious award .
