Mangalore : Monappa Bhandari, MLC has emphasized the need to protect and promote Tulu language, literature and culture.

He was speaking as a chief guest at  a Tulu Kavya Gaana Koota Nritya programme held at Mangaldevi Temple. P Ramanatha Hegde, Managing Trustee, Rama Naika Kotekar, Trustee, Harikrishna Punaroor, District Kannada Sahitya Parishat President, and others were present on the occasion.
