This programme includes a set of training sessions, workshops and campaigns focused on waste segregation at source (at generator level).

Nudidante Nade is inspired from the popular idiom ‘Practice What You Preach’ and is mainly meant for staff and officials of government buildings. The programme was launched on 13-06-2018 at MCC Office by Mayor Sri Bhasker K. Speaking on the occasion, the mayor appreciated the idea and effort behind the project. Deputy Mayor Sri Mohammed Kunjathabail and MCC Commissioner Sri Mohammed Nazeer were present on the occasion.

“It is important that government offices and public buildings set a good example for the citizens by adopting waste segregation within the building premises. If this drive on government and public buildings is successful, it will inspire the people and set the government organization as a role model for the citizens,” said Sri Mohammed Nazeer, Commissioner of Mangaluru City Corporation.

Jayaprakash Nayak, Scientific Officer of Karnataka State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) and an expert on the subject consented to be the chief resource person for the training sessions.
