Mangalore : BJP corporator from Padil ward Mohan Padil joins JD(S) after quitting BJP leadership.
Speaking on the occasion, Mohan Padil said he had taken a decision to quit the BJP party because of its dictatorial rule.
He said that he had worked hard in his ward to satisfy the basic facilities of the people. In spite of asking for the funds to repair the roads in Padil area, the local MLA’s have failed to sanction. Finally when the funds have been sanctioned, the election code of conduct is in middle. He blamed NJP leaders for his decision to quit the party.
Reportedly, in the coming election, Mohan Padil is will contest as a JD(S) candidate from his ward.
Senior leader Nagaraj Shetty, said that the people who have come to know about the dictatorship of BJP, are joining the JDS party and in turn party will assure to provide an opportunity for the worthy candidates.
Other leaders including Ganesh Mallya, Rohan D’Silva, Umesh Kunjathbail, K P Jagadish and N P Narayana also joined the JD(S).
JD(S) leaders Sadananda Shetty, M G Hegde, Sushil Noronha, Aslam, Vasanth Baikampady, Gopal, Shashiraj Shetty, Sudharshan Shetty were present.
