Police arrests two thefts involved in 14 theft cases

14 theft Mangalore : District police arrested two persons on Tuesday, September 23 from Arlapadavu of Puttur taluk allegedly involved in at least 14 thefts cases took place in and around the district.

The arrested have been identified as Kasaragod residents P.A. Mohammad Kabeer (23) and Farooq Sajuddin (30)

Speaking at the press meet, Superintendent of Police S.D. Sharanappa said that the duo are registered in over nine theft cases against them in Puttur Rural and Puttur Town police stations.

He also said that the two have stolen gold ornaments and cash valued more than Rs. 9 lakh worth as per the report of two police stations.

They have committed a theft in the houses coming under Mangalore East Police station limits and in Kasaragod district.
