Managluru: To resolve the Cauvery water dispute between Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, former union minister Janardhana Poojary will pray the deity by performing ‘urulu seve’ at Gokarnatheshwara temple, Kudroli on September 19.
Speaking to the reporters on Friday, he said that due to the dispute Tamil Nadu observed bundh on Friday. Many undesirable incidents also have taken place.
“It is only god who can solve this problem. Hence I have decided to pray the deity by offering special prayers. People of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Yettinhole activists, Congress party workers and general public are also invited for this,” he said.
Further he thanked the CM for accepting the invitation of celebration of Narayana Guru Jayanti. If possible he should join with the public to perform urulu seve.
When media personnel questioned him that whether CM Siddaramiah asked any suggestions from him regarding the water dispute, he said “CM is a egoistic person. He acts like a Hitler. Forgot asking with me, he never consults high command. He is thinking that he is the only intelligent person in the party.”
