Bengaluru: Former chief minister and senior Congress leader Siddaramaiah on Thursday lashed out at the opposition leaders for trying to create rift between his party leaders.
Taking to Twitter, Siddaramaiah said that for the last five years as a chief minister he has experienced such attempts by opposition party leaders to create rift between G Parameshwara and him. “Such attempts are even continuing today. But they won’t be successful. We read such reports and laugh it off,” he said.
“I know Ramesh Jarkiholi and his entire family. Ramesh is a Congressman and he will not leave the party. The attempts of the BJP to poach our leaders also will not be successful,” he added.
There were reports that heated words were exchanged between Siddaramaiah, leader of the Congress legislative party and DCM Dr Parameshwara with regards portfolio distribution.
