Udupi : Ravi Katapady has brought another interesting character before the people with a dragon (giant) to spread awareness about coronavirus.
This year there is no festival of Krishnashtami in Udupi due to the coronation pandemic. However, Ravi Katapadi has disguised himself as a special permission by the District Collector to raise awareness against corona.
Ravi is a mason by profession. However, he has amassed more than Rs 50 lakhs for the past 10 years and donated to 58 poor and ill children.
Ravi’s costumes have cost about Rs 40,000. Dhanraj, Dharesh and Akshay led by artist Ajay Pitrodiy designed costume.
