Mangaluru : The government has released Rs. 4,02,518 towards the cost of treatment of 21 victims of Ulaibettu communal clash reported in December last year.
While the district administration had submitted a proposal seeking release of Rs. 5,62,313 towards the cost of treatment, the government said the maximum compensation payable for grievous injury without resulting in permanent disability was Rs. 50,000.
