Mangalore : The Bunts election campaign meet held at A B Shetty Convention Hall, Bunts Hostel, here on Saturday November 2 , Bunts leader Sadananda Shetty supports gathered in large numbers to support upcoming presidential election of Bunts Sangh on November 10.

The association has more than 100 years history and the election takes place every third year.  There are two candidates, contesting for the presidential election of Bunts sangha.  A Sadananda Shetty and Ajith Malady, nominated for the election.

Speaking at the campaign meet Erya Laxminarayan Alva said that, in the leadership of Sadananda Shetty more changes will be headed by Bunt Community. He has made lot of service to society, Will continue too. There is no competition him in our society he added.

Dr N Vinay Hegde, chairman, Nitte Education Trust, Dr M Shantharam Shetty, renowned surgeon and Bunts Foundation president, veteran literati Erya Laxminarayan Alva, music composer Gurukiran, Dr K R Shetty, politician A Amaranath Shetty, and Vijaynath Vittal Shetty, Ikala Harish Shetty, Basroor Appanna Hegde, Dr M Ramgopal Shetty, Baramgare Sadanand Punja, Navaneeth Shetty Kadri among others were present.  

Amaranath Shetty spoke on the occasion.  Jayakara Shetty Idhrali, joint secretary welcomed and Kolladi Balakrishna Shetty proposed the vote of thanks.
