Mangaluru : All 840 students of Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management received their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and M.Tech. course completion certificates at the eighth graduation here on Saturday.
S. Rajesh Chandran, vice-president, Talent Acquisition, ITC Infotech India Limited, Bengaluru, and H.N. Jagannatha Reddy, Registrar, Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, were the guests.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Chandran asked students to develop a positive attitude towards life and master the subject of their choice. One should have a healthy mind in a healthy body, he said.
Mr. Reddy, who congratulated the students, spoke about the importance of teamwork.
Two of the graduating students shared the experiences of their time spent in the campus and expressed their gratitude to their alma mater.
Manjunath Bhandary, president, Bhandary Foundation, R. Srinivasa Rao Kunte, principal, and others were present, a release said.
