Mangalore : Sri Bhoothanatheshwara Kreedotsava-III  will be inaugurated by DCC Chief B Ramanatha Rai in the fields adjacent to Sri Shastavu Bhoothanatheshwara Temple, Badaga Edapadavu on January 18. The three-day event will be held till January 20. The inaugural  function will be blessed by Sri Vishweshateertha Swamiji of Sri Pejavar Mutt, Udupi.

Nalin Kumar Kateel (MP), Sri Krishna J. Palemar (Ex-Minister, Government of Karnataka), Sri. B. Nagaraj Shetty (Ex-Minister, Government of Karnataka), Sri Prithviraj R.K. (President, Gurupur Block Congress Committee), Sri Jagadish Adhikari (BJP District Vice President), Dr. Mohan Alva (Chairman, Alva’s Education Foundation, Moodabidri), Sri Mohammed Althaf (General Secretary, DK District Youth Congress) and Kannada Filmstar Ms. Haripriya will be the chief guests.

There will be 40 games in 70 categories with an aggregate prize money of over Rs. 15 lakh.
On Friday 18th January evening at 6:00 p.m. onwards ‘Manassuda Ullasogu Bodad Enchinala Malpuva’, a talent show, will be staged during which Film Star Shivadwaj and Popular TV Anchors Anushree and Naveen Shetty will be the panel of judges.

Other celebrities who are expected to visit the event during the three days are: Cricket Stars Munaf Patel and Praveen Kumar, Hockey Legend Dhanraj Pillai, Sandalwood Music Director Gurukiran and Film Stars Prem and Shubha Poonja.

Dance Programme by Boyzone Dance Troupe and Comedy and Mimicry by Bank Janardhan and Team will be staged on Saturday 19th January evening 7:30 p.m. onwards. Famous playback singer Rajesh Krishnan will give a live concert on Sunday 20th January 7:00 p.m. onwards.
