Mangaluru: A post-election clash erupted wwhen Congress candidate Mithun Rai’s car was passing by Mudushedde on Wednesday evening. 

The incident occurred as, with BJP workers shouting slogans and Congress workers responding in kind.

The situation escalated when miscreants reportedly pelted stones at Rai’s vehicle, intensifying the already charged atmosphere.

However, swift action by the local police prevented further escalation of violence, as they rushed to the spot and managed to restore order. In an effort to maintain peace, additional police forces were deployed to the area, effectively bringing the situation under control.
