Teacher beat up studentBeltangady : The parents of eighth standard student registered complaint with the Childline against Hindi Teacher of grievously injuring their son on his arms.

Parents in their complaint stated that their son is the student in Nittade Government School and was beaten up by Hindi Teacher Pranesh repeatedly since the boy had rested his head on the desk who was suffering from severe headache.

The parents said that their son told about headache but still the teacher hit him continuously and severely injuring on his arm.

Later the Childline, transferred the case to Children Welfare Committee (CWC).

It is learnt that, President of Student Development Monitoring Committee (SDMC) are pressurizing the parents to take back the complaint.

The Childline officials, who visited the school for an enquiry, found the absence of headmaster while most of the SDMC members and teachers had also skipped the meeting.

The parents also informed officials that Siraj, member of SDMC is threatening them to take back the complaint.

Further CWC will issue summons to the SDMC to the teachers and parents to discuss the matter.
