Belthangady: A man died after he suffered a cardiac arrest while returning from a trek on Sunday.

The deceased Ashil (29), from Mangaluru and employed in a private firm, was one among 31 people who had gone to Ambatemale Forest in Neriya for a trek.

Sources say that the group used to regularly go on treks. However, on Sunday as they were returning to Mangaluru, Ashil died of a cardiac arrest.
