Mangalore : The premiere of the Tulu film Sompa was held at Big Cinemas, Bharath Mall on the evening of September 13. JD(S) leader Amarnath Shetty inaguurted the programme.

Speaking on the occasion, he urged people  to encourage the film and its producers by watching and enjoying it.

Dr Richard Castelino,noted director, Ramachandra Baikampady, KFDC chairman, Manohar Prasad, senior journalist, Harish Shetty, actor, Thamma Laxman, art director, lead actors Ajatha Shatru and Namratha Hegde, Geetha Hegde, producer of the movie and others were present.

Manohar Prasad said this movie is the 44th Tulu movie  so far and appreciated the efforts put in by Namratha Hegde and other team members of the film.
