Mumbai: Two moderate quakes shook western India on Saturday morning.
The first quake, of 4.0 magnitude, shook parts of Gujarat at 8.53 am this morning. Its epicentre was located in Rann of Kutch at a depth of 7 kilometres.
The second quake, of 4.9 magnitude, jolted parts of Maharashtra, including Mumbai, Pune and Satara district at 10.57 am.
Its epicentre was located in Satara district at a depth of 10 kms.
No loss of life or property has so far been reported in both the quakes.
