Bhatkal :  Two teenagers from Byadagi in Haveri district have reportedly drowned in the Murdeshwar beach on Sunday, July 15. The incident took place when the two along with 12 others had been to Murdeshwar after visiting Jog Falls.

The deceased have been identified as Dada Peer (17) and Mohammed Hussain (15). The mishap is learnt to have taken place when they were playing in the waters. It is learnt most of the students who were on a picnic had not informed their parents. The police who took into custody all the boys who were in  the group, later released after questioning them. The bodies of the missing two boys are yet to be recovered.
