Udupi : A Koti Tulsi Archane programme would be held at the Sri Krishna Mutt/Temple and Rajangana here on September 22.
Addressing presspersons here on Thursday, Vidyadheesha Tirtha Swami of Paryaya Palimar Mutt said that the offering of one crore Tulsi leaves would be held at the Sri Krishna Mutt/Temple and at Rajangana Hall here from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. on September 22 with a half-hour break at 9 a.m. He would be offering Tulsi leaves at the Sri Krishna Mutt/Temple.
Vishwesha Tirtha Swami of Pejawar Mutt, Vidyasagara Tirtha Swami of Krishnapur Mutt, Vishwapriya Tirtha Swami of Admar Mutt, Vishwaprasanna Tirtha Swami, junior seer of Pejawar Mutt, Vishwavallabha Tirtha Swami of Sode Mutt and Vidyarajeshwara Tirtha Swami, junior seer of Palimar Mutt, would participate in the programme and offer Tulsi leaves to the idol of Lord Krishna on the stage at Rajangana Hall.
This would be followed by a puja to Lord Krishna at noon.
About 2,500 devotees would chant the Vishnu Sahasranama on Sunday during the Koti Tulsi Archane below the stage at Rajangana. Lunch for the devotees would be served at 1 p.m., the seer said.
