Udupi : The police have arrested six persons in connection to attempt-to-murder of a person at Puttur.
The six accused have been identified as Charan, Puneeth, Mohammad Farvez, Abhijith, Shahnawaz and Ratan.
The victim Shyam attacked when he was with his friends near a well. On May 23 at around 8.30 pm six accused arrived at the scene and attacked him with lethal weapons with an intent to kill Shyam.
The attack left Shyam severely injured. Following this incident, a complaint was filed at the Udupi police station.
The operation was conducted under the guidance of district police superintendent, N Vishnuvardan including ASP Kumarachandra, DySP Sudhakar Sadanand Naik, Udupi town inspector, Pramod Kumar P, town crime branch police sub-inspector, Vasappa Naik, PSI, Violet Femina, PSI, Vijay and police personnel, Jeevan, Rajesh, Manohar, Chethan, Vishwanath and Riyaz were the part of the investigation.
