Mangalore : A youth was stabbed to death after he was seriously injured in an incident at Valencia on September 22, Monday.

The deceased victim has been identified as Durga Prasad (24), hailing from Mijar in Edapadavu.

It is learnt, Durga Prasad was riding his bike when two assailants in a bike followed him and stabbed him at around 3.30 pm. After stabbing the assailants fled from the scene.

The locals, who found Durga Prasad lying in a pool of blood, rushed him to the hospital. But he breathed his last in the hospital.

The murder is suspected to be a rivalry.
