Mangaluru : Unidentified Miscreants allegedly desecrated a Koragajja Katte  by dropping objectionable material near Marnamikatte on Tuesday morning.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang dal activists demanded the arrest of the culprits.

Replying to the incident, MLA Vedavyas Kamat said that anyone who would desecrated the religious centers will be punished. The forces that instigated the communal riots will be strictly punished, he said.

Police officers visited the spot immediately.

A complaint has been registered in Pandeshwar police station.
