Mangalore: It is a time for social rejoicing for Gowda(Gaur) Saraswat Brahmin Community, on the case relating to 28 worshipping idols and materials coming back to Kashimutt and guru Sudheendra Tirtha Swamiji on Monday, November 28 from Kadapa magistrate court and police to the Mutt representative G.G. Prabhu.
A Victory procession was taken out by thousands of disciples from Sri Venkataramana Temple in Car Street in the evening on hearing the glad tidings, for which they had waited for 15 years.
The long-drawn legal battle was decided on Royal Seema Kadapa soil, and the Puja materials almost lost were brought back to the possession of elder Guru(85) who has taken a new disciple, dropping the old one Raghavendra who cheated his own Guru, and had disobeyed court orders to return the idols and other puja articles.
The rebel stands to get a jail sentence in the case, when his guilt is proved in the case soon.
