Kasargod: Sushma (26), the wife of software engineer Sachin Kotekar who was found dead under mysterious circumstances near the shores at Mogral Koppala in June this year, has committed suicide by hanging herself on August 17, Friday.

Sachin was a US based engineer and investigations into the case of his death has so far not made any headway.   Sushma who was staying in her parental home at Postadka in Kumble was missing since Friday afternoon, but was later found hanging in the bathroom. Though the exact cause of the suicide is not known, it is suspected that frustration in life was the cause of the extreme step.

Kumble police are conducting investigations.
