Mangaluru: A middle aged woman allegedly committed suicide by jumping from Netravati bridge on Saturday late evening.

Tulasi (50) of Kankanady Bypass road is the deceased person.

Police was informed by an eye witness who saw her jumping from the top of the bridge while he was moving in a vehicle.

Police found her vanity bag and sandals on the bridge. Her identity was revealed through her voter identity card which was kept in the vanity bag.

Ullal police have registered a case.
