Udupi : Several women’s organizations of Udupi celebrated Aatidonji Dina, Ponjove Koota here on July 24, Tuesday.

Katapady Shanker Poojari, Udupi Zilla Panchayat President, said Aati tradition of Tulunad should be protected and promoted and added it had its own significance.

Participants also relished several Tulunad delicacies including Gujja Iretha Gatti, Gendada Adde, Menthe Ganji, Timare Chutney, Tujanka Vade etc.

A Siri Padadana was also presented on the occasion.
