Burglars loot house at Panemangalore

home-bantwalBantwal : Thieves have stolen cash and valuables worth several lakhs of rupees from the residence of Abdul Razak, a beedi businessman at Nehru Nagar near Panemangalore on October 9, Wednesday night.

The thieves had gained entry through back door and broke the cupboard in the room in which Razak and his wife were sleeping. It is learnt they sprayed some chemical so that those inside the house were drowsy.The theft came to light the next morning. Cash of Rs 19.5 lakhs and 15 sovereigns of gold has been stolen. A pulsar bike has also been stolen. Razak had brought the cash to pay salary to his staff and also to  purchase raw materials.

He has announced Rs one lakh prize for those who provided information about the thieves.

Bantwal police are investigating.
