Police nabbed two in Konchady theft case

Commissioner Mangaluru: Mangaluru police arrested two person for looting Rs 18 lakh cash and three mobile phones in builder Narasimha Rao’s house at Konchady on Friday.

Ambanna Basappa Jaadar alias Ambareesh (25) and Rasheedha (23) of Dharwada are the arrested persons. Police arrested both the accused on Friday at Kulai.

Konchady theft Upon receiving information from trusted source a team led by ACP Uday Nayak arrested both as they were looking for a rented house at Kulai.

Rs 17,38,000 cash and jewelleries worth Rs 9700 which were bought using stolen cash were seized by the police.

City Police Commissioner Chandra Sekhar has urged the public to do proper enquiry before hiring someone as employees.

He further said that Ambanna was convicted in a bike theft case in Bijapur.

Inspector M A Nataraj, PSI Umesh Kumar M N, ASI Vanajakshi and other officials took part in the possession.
