Mangalore : Mangalorean Suraj Bolar, who resides at Bangalore has emerged as one of the best DJ’s in the country, by winning the regional round of Mirchi Folkmix, the biggest DJ hunt in India, with his entry ‘Kadu Kudure’.
This regional round was organized at Sutra – The Lalit Ashok, Bangalore. The other finalists were Rakshith and Chetan.
DJ Suraj was one among the 12 other finalists of the national competition, who were selected to give the live performance at the grand finale held in Pune and at the Glam and Jam Night in Mumbai.
The participants were asked to download a folk song from the Mirchi Folkmix website and remix it with the folk music of their state and send it to their local Radio Mirchi station and out of which 3 remixes were selected in the regional rounds at the competition.
