Mangalore : Mangalore MLA UT Khader who has been appointed state minister was accorded a warm welcome on his arrival at the Mangalore airport on May 19, Sunday. Several well-wishers, supporters and party workers were present.
Speaking to media men he said all party workers and leader had a role in his victory and he thanked the voters for supporting him. He said he never expected a ministerial berth, but said now that he was a minister he would strive for the welfare of his constituency.
Party leaders including District Interim President of Congress Ibrahim Kodijal, Shivaprasad Shetty, Iftikar Ali, Vinayraj and others were present.
