Mangalore : Nearly 85 beneficiaries of the Vajpayee Nagara Niveshana Scheme, received title deeds  at a function held at City Corporation office on February 9, Saturday.

Krishna Palemar, MLA and former minister distributed the title deeds. He asked the beneficiaries to use the land provided to them and said the land cannot be sold or transferred to anyone.

Deputy Speaker Yogish Bhat who also spoke said  title deeds would soon be distributed to the 830 beneficiaries of the scheme in Mangalore South Constituency.

Several including Mayor Gulzar Banu, Deputy Mayor Amitha Kala, DC Prakash, MCC Commissioner Harish Kumar, MLC Monappa Bhandari were present.
