Kaup: In a late night accident on May 31, Thursday, near Kaup, one person was killed and two others sustained serious injuries

The mishap took place near Pangala Bridge near Kaup when the car in which the three were travelling fell off the bridge.

The deceased has been identified as Gopalkrishna Rao (72). The injured are Satish Rao (34) who was driving the car and Bhagirathi (62). They are presently receiving treatment at the Manipal Hospital.

The family was on way home from Udupi after attending a function. Kaup police have registered a case.
