Kasargod :  Police have seized ten kg of ganja from four persons who were transporting the same in the Delhi-Ernakulam train. The four were arrested when they reached Kasargod and got down the train.

The ganja was found in their luggage and there were five packets in all each packet weighing 2 kg.The arrested are Mohammed Riyaz (35), P M Naushad (31), K M Abdul Sattar (51) and K M Imtiaz (29).

Police said they were transporting ganja on earlier occasions too. The drugs racket is so active in the district as is evident from the seizing of nearly four tons of ganja in six months in the district.
