Bantwal : A fifth standard boy accidentally fell into a stone quarry and died on Saturday, July 22.

The deceased Irfan (10), son of Hussein and Zeenath from Kanchinadka Padav in Bantwala.

It is said, Irfan started to play with his friends after his parent went to the Hospital. The children croosed the Wire fence around the quarry. Irfan fell into the quarry and breathed his last.

Hussein works as a coolie worker. Irfan was one among his six children. Tahasildar Purandara Hegde and police personnel arrived at the place.
